It has been some time since I did my last Soulful Spirit Seeker Tools post and this is a very special one. All of the beautiful things I am using right now have a special place in my heart as they were supporters of the Divinely Feminine Retreat held in Daylesford last month. It was a truly incredible experience that I look forward to blogging about for you all soon.
Michelle Marie McGrath Goddess Mist
I have been using Michelle’s alchemical oils and products for many years. It feels in fact like forever! Everything Michelle does is created with intention, love, creativity and her passion for women and helping them connect with their deepest truth and most awakened self.
Her latest offering of both Magic and Goddess mists are (and this is a big call!) her most favourite product of mine to date. The Goddess Mist and Michelle’s self-love cards were a perfect addition to our retreat time and the mist was used (liberally!) every day. It is truly divine, feminine and just a little bit magic. For your chance to win a bottle of Goddess Mist please read on below.
Priestess Your Life Lunar Journals
Grace Funk of Priestess Your Life has come into my life in the past nine months through my journey with the School of Shamanic Womancraft. She is, as her name suggests, an incredibly graceful, gentle and wise Priestess of the Earth.
I have been using Grace’s 2017 Lunar Journal all year and it is amazing. A gorgeous written and journal based journey through the lunar and seasonal cycles and I was so thrilled that all the women on retreat were able to take this beauty home with them and use for the remainder of the year. I really hope Grace releases one for 2018 and if she does – I can’t recommend it for your journalling practice enough!
Those of you who know me well know there’s pretty much never been a gorgeous natural candle created – that I didn’t love. And this hasn’t changed one bit since the lovely Meagan of Fifth Element Home came into my life. Meagan proudly creates beautiful candles, soy wax melts, tea lights and diffusers in her home area of country Gippsland. Some of her beautiful fragrance combinations include Lime Blossom and Sweet Pea and Jasmine.
Meagan made a beautiful candle and home diffuser pack for our retreat attendees and I have been enjoying her truly gorgeous concrete candles here at home. A beautiful country business filled with love and creativity to add to your list to support.
I have not bought anything but organic, chemical free skincare, bodycare or makeup for a LONG time now – years. And the simple reason is that with our skin being the largest organ in our body, I only want to put on it things that I know are not going to harm me in any way and especially anything that may have been tested on animals.
When the lovely Maxine Louise said she wanted to offer our retreat attendees some of her luscious organic spa skincare I could not think of a better Goddess treat to have given them. And now having used the products myself all I can say is – wow. They smell divine, feel amazing and most important of all – do what they say they will. And amongst all the hype of advertising and media messaging around these things for ourselves as women isn’t that all we want? It is me!
The lovely Janice and Kellie from Morning Road are two besties in biz. How gorgeous and what a dream come true for so many of us! Together they create fresh, fun and gorgeous stationery products that are a spirit seeker and journal writers dream.
Morning Road gifted our retreat attendees a pack of beautifully designed cards and they have so many new and wonderful offerings coming out all the time. Their latest gratitude books are divine.
Collaborating with beautiful and soulful businesses like these ones is one of the true joys that come about from being entrepreneurs who come together for the benefit of each other and others. I would also like to make mention and give a heartfelt thank you to Lemon Canary and Alyssum Alchemy for sending beautiful products either for myself and/or our retreat attendees as well. All of these women and businesses I am so grateful for and how much do I love knowing that they are all small business owners with clearly such huge and generous hearts? Love. Please do check out their gorgeous websites and wares.
Finally, for your chance to win a Goddess Mist from Michelle Marie McGrath ($33 AUD value) please comment below by June 30th, 5pm AEST July 2017 letting me know who your favourite Goddess is and why. Open worldwide. Good luck Goddess!
My favourite goddess is Lakshmi as she came to me in a visualization meditation at the time I needed guidance and perspective in my life. She continues to guide and inspire me to be my fullest and most present self, to bring different types of prosperity into my life.
Must I choose just one ? Personal goddess is mum for how she radiates love and strength …. but if you want a ” well known ” goddess I think Aphrodite ( goddess of love ) is my favourite because love is so important ( both the relationships with others as well as self love )
Ooh tricky!! So many beautiful goddesses to choose from. I think I would have to say Athena. I have felt drawn to her since my teens and still work with her often. She is smart, generous, unforgiving, fierce and wise. A warrior and weaver. I love her strength and the fact that she has many sides to her and many talents.
My favourite goddess is Artemis (Diana). I resonate so deeply with her fiercely wild side, and connection to animals. I have the same tendency to be a protectress. She is calling me to step into my true goddess essence. I’ve even seen Owls very often lately, her sidekick, reminding me to trust my inner wisdom.
My favorite Goddess is Diana, she embodies strength, beauty, compassion, and determination. As a woman, this goddess reminds me to speak my truth with courage and follow my dreams with focused intent! Thank you Diana!
Oooh, this is a relatively new realm to me, but I am enjoying exploring and learning about the godsesses. Although I am drawn to Kali, right now I am crushing on Lalita Devi! Everything she embodies is resonating with me big time right now, and she makes me feel very me, very open to all I desire.
My favorite goddess is White Buffalo Calf Woman… She has such a strong yet feminine presence about her, to me she embodies what being a goddess means. She uses her “power” and magnetism to bring people back to the idea of a universal oneness and reminds women of their importance and larger connection to the earth and everything around them. To me, I see her as this role model, a person going to bat for the women who see themselves as less than they really are or as that friend who reminds you of all you can be and tells you not to underestimate yourself! I adore her!
I’ve always been a fan of Demeter because she represents a mature version of womanhood: less virginal, more wise, sensual and abundant. Some of my favorite depictions of her are found in Tarot decks (the Empress card).
ohh i feel called in this moment by Kali and all the black goddesses, to see the truth, to shade skin so just the authenticity can be.
While all goddesses provide guidance and hope for me, my personal favorite is Nyx, the goddess personification of night. She has great power and beauty, is mother to a host of other gods/goddesses, and represents both the good and evils of the dark time of day. Her well-roundedness is inspiring and someone I enjoy sharing my spirituality with every new and full moon!
My favorite goddess is Mother Earth who gives so much to us daily and asks so little in return.
I am drawn to Kuan Yin. She reminds me of compassion and forgiveness, not just for others, but for myself.
Im still learning more and more about the goddesses. I feel drawn to Artemis because of her connection to nature and her free spirit. Loving learning about these beautiful priestesses.
I’ve recently become more aware of goddesses through you Julie and still have much more learning to enjoy and need for space to be with each of them, but I do very much feel strongly aligned with and have felt deeply connected to Gaia, Mother Earth Goddess, our ancestral mother of all life form, ever since I was little. All stresses, anxiety, fears, scattered-ness, all dissipates when I sink myself into Mother Earths warm nurturing embrace. I have also always drawn great inspiration from her for my life’s direction and creative heart.
Kuan Yin for Her mercy, strength, healing and compassion for all beings and the possibility for each of us to be “she who hears the cries of the world” and to be one of Her 1,000 arms responding in action to those cries.
I’m really new to goddesses but in the reading I have done so far, I’m really drawn to Kali. I like where she takes me in terms of renewal, my dark side and the aspects I’ve read about her being a divine protector and liberating of souls.
I’ve got to say Artemis because it’s my name. I feel that I was given this name to teach myself who I am and what I am capable of, making it my purpose in life to use my strengths and traits to help others.
Having only recently discovered goddesses on a yoga retreat where I chose Lakshmi’s card, the goddess of power, abundance who nurtures and nourishes life. This at the time was perfect for me and still is. I’m learning more about goddesses from Julie’s podcast and now I my own goddess cards too.
Thank you all so much for sharing your favourite Goddess with me. I have loved reading through all of your comments.
The winner of the giveaway is Jen Pavich. We will email you Jen to send out your Goddess mist which I hope you love.
Congratulations Jen!
